Job Title: Freight Broker (Consultant)

Purple Unicorn Logistics is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Freight Broker to join our team. As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for generating new business, negotiating transportation rates and securing carriers to move our clients' freight efficiently and effectively. You will play a crucial role in managing our supply chain and ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Negotiate transportation rates with carriers to ensure the most cost-effective and efficient transport of goods
- Generating leads and attracting new prospects and developing a sales pipeline.
- Developing and maintain relationships with carriers and customers to ensure excellent service delivery
- Provide support to customers and carriers regarding shipment statuses and logistics issues
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise
- Communicate effectively with customers and carriers to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Manage and maintain transportation-related documents and paperwork
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Monitor market trends and industry changes to stay up to date on the latest developments in freight transportation
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including safety and security protocols
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve company goals and objectives

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred but not required
- Ability to cold-call and generate new business
- Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role
- Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- 6:30 pm to 3:30 am (US Time Shift)

Ability to commute/relocate:

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- US shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus
