Job Summary:

- The Study Abroad Counselor plays a crucial role in guiding students through the process of pursuing education abroad like UK, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and EU. This position involves providing comprehensive information, advice, and support to students interested in studying overseas. The Study Abroad Counselor assists students in making informed decisions regarding academic programs, institutions, and cultural experiences, ultimately helping them achieve their educational and career goals.
- Responsibilities:

- Student Guidance:

- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students, understanding their academic backgrounds, interests, and goals.
- Guide students in selecting suitable study abroad programs, institutions, and courses based on their individual preferences and academic requirements.
- Program Knowledge:

- Stay updated on various study abroad programs, scholarships, and opportunities available worldwide.
- Research and maintain in-depth knowledge about different countries, universities, and educational systems to provide accurate and relevant information to students.
- Documentation and Processes:

- Ensure that students are aware of and fulfill all visa, admission, and other requirements for studying abroad.
- Assist students in preparing and organizing necessary documentation, such as academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, and personal statements.
- Financial Guidance:

- Provide information on tuition fees, living expenses, and available scholarships.
- Guide students in budgeting for their study abroad experience and exploring financial aid options.
- Cultural Preparation:

- Conduct workshops or seminars to prepare students for cultural differences and challenges they may encounter while studying abroad.
- Share resources and advice on adapting to a new academic and social environment.
- Liaison with Institutions:

- Establish and maintain relationships with international universities, colleges, and educational institutions.
- Marketing and Outreach:

- Contribute to marketing efforts by promoting study abroad programs through presentations, social media, and other channels.
- Participate in education fairs and outreach events to attract potential students.
- Record Keeping:

- Generate reports and updates to track student progress and success stories.
- Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (education, counseling, international relations, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of international education systems and study abroad programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with visa processes and immigration regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- Experience in counseling or advising roles is preferred.
- The Study Abroad Counselor plays a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal journeys of students seeking international education opportunities.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 per month
