Hospital Project Coordinator

Santniketan Medical College & Hospital is looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Coordinator specializing in Medical Oxygen Therapy (MOT) and Medical Gas Pipeline Systems (MGPS). In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of projects related to MOT and MGPS within the hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans for MOT and MGPS systems, including timelines, milestones, and budget estimates.

2. Coordination: Liaise between hospital administration, medical staff, and engineering teams to facilitate the seamless execution of projects.

3. Vendor Management: Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for timely delivery and installation of equipment and systems.

4. Quality Control: Monitor the installation process to ensure compliance with both internal and external standards, including safety regulations.

5. Budget Management: Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including estimates, budgets, and cost controls. Ensure projects are completed within budget.

6. Risk Assessment: Identify and address potential risks that could affect the successful completion of projects.

7. Reporting: Prepare and present regular project updates, status reports, and post-project evaluations to senior management.

8. Staff Training: Train hospital staff on the new MOT and MGPS systems to ensure proper usage and compliance with safety standards.

9. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all activities comply with regulatory standards. Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation.

Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

3. Familiarity with MOT and MGPS installations and operations.

4. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

5. Proficient in project management software.

6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

2. Experience in a hospital or other medical facility of similar complexity.

3. In-depth understanding of healthcare regulations and safety standards related to MOT and MGPS.
