**Mechanical Design Engineer:(IT/Diploma/Mech),**

**Overview**: As a **Transformer Mechanical Design Engineer, **you will play a critical role in the
design and development of mechanical components and systems for transformers. Your
primary responsibility will be to ensure the structural integrity, reliability, and efficiency of
transformers through innovative mechanical design solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, manufacturing specialists, and quality assurance personnel to deliver high-quality transformer products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Create detailed **2D and 3D technical drawings of transformer components **and
- assemblies using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD orSolidWorks.
- Generate assembly drawings that illustrate the arrangement and interconnection of

transformer components, including cores, windings, tanks, cooling systems, andinsulation structures.
- Produce detailed drawings of individual transformer parts, including machined
- Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and vibration analysis to assess the
- Identify appropriate materials and manufacturing processes for transformer
- Collaborate with prototype development teams to build and test transformer
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to
- Work to optimize the design for cost efficiency without compromising quality or
- Work closely with electrical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other
- Prepare technical documentation including design specifications, engineering
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in transformer technology, mechanical
- Co-ordination with client for drawing approval.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to interpret
- Bachelor's degree in **Mechanical Engineering** or related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in the field of power
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Finite Element

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical
