**Summary**:

- UST is looking for **Software Development cum Python Automation Engineer.**

**The Opportunity**:

- **6+ years of experience in total**
- **Automation Experience**:

- Proven experience in automating instruments using standard **VISA** or **Python** libraries.
- Hands-on expertise in **Python scripting and automating testing** (including handling subprocesses, threads, DLLs, etc.).
- **Version Control**:

- Solid experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code repositories effectively.
- **CI/CD and Build Automation**:

- Experience with **continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)** pipelines and build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI).
- **Test Automation Frameworks**:

- Familiarity with test automation frameworks (such as **Pytest** or **unittest**) to ensure robust test coverage.
- **Scripting & Tooling**:

- Experience with **Shell**/ **Powershell/** **bash** scripting.
- **Software Development & Python Expertise**:

- Strong software development experience using **Python frameworks**.
- Knowledge in Python modules such as **Pandas**, **Matplotlib**, **NumPy**, PySerial, etc.
- **Documentation**:

- Strong documentation skills, with the ability to write clear, maintainable code and comprehensive test cases.
- **Collaboration & Work Ethic**:

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a result-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

**Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
