Job Summary:
As a medical receptionist at a diagnostic chain in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for greeting patients, answering their questions, and directing them to the appropriate department or healthcare professional. You will be the first point of contact for patients and their families and play an essential role in ensuring that the clinic operates efficiently and effectively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients as they arrive and direct them to the appropriate department or healthcare professional.
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records.
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and take messages for healthcare professionals.
- Ensure that patients' medical records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Collect patient information, including medical history and insurance information.
- Coordinate patient flow and manage waiting areas to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner.
- Handle patient complaints and escalate issues as necessary.
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working in a medical or healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes.
- Familiarity with computerized scheduling and billing systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- 2 year experience minimum in medical field (required)
