**Specific Exposure : Fertilizers, Specifically - Ammonia / Urea Plants / GT Power Plant**

**Job Description / Responsibilities**
- 1. Work experience in continuously operating Ammonia / Urea fertilizer plants.
- 2. Will lead, develop and be responsible for Instrumentation Department. Will be leading Instrumentation Section Heads, Instrument Engineers, Diploma Technicians, Contract Workmen and will be reporting to HOD Maintenance.
- 3. Upkeep of different generation of Control and Safety Systems / Instruments (DCS Systems like ABB Advant and Yokogawa C-3000 series, ESD Systems like Edmund-Erdmund-Electrotechnik, Hima make HRS_50 series and Yokogawa Pro-Safe series, Man-GHH Turbolog, Different series of Omron PLS systems / Ge-Fanuc PLC systems / Allen-Bradley PLC systems, Mark-IV and V Gas Turbine control systems, Bently Nevada / Shinkawa Vibration Monitoring Systems, BMS, Woodward, CCC, Bagging machines, Various make / types of Gas / Liquid on-line analyzers, Ammonia / Chlorine gas leak systems, Electro-Hydraulic/ Pneumatic converting systems, Mass flow meters / Turbine flow meters / Nucleonic Level Transmitters / Capacitance type Level Instruments etc).
- 4. Experience in trouble shooting / overhauling various make control valves along with their accessories (Different make control valves I.L. / MIL / KOSO / RK / Parcol / Masonelein / ARCA / Neles-Jamesburry etc, PRDS station of BTG Kalle / Copes with Hydraulic Actuators etc)
- 5. Experience in Ambient Air Monitoring / Pollution Monitoring Analysers
- 6. Preventive maintenance scheduling & execution for all Instruments.
- 7. Planning, co-ordination and implementation of Plant Turn Around jobs
- 8. Budget and Spares management.
- 9. Conversant with Modern Codes and Standards.
- 10. Studying and implementation of modifications needed for Safety and Reliability.
- 11. Identifying possible hazards well in advance and guiding / planning for safe execution of the critical jobs.
- 12. Should have logical and analytical thinking capability for identifying the root cause for failure of equipment and implementing corrective actions to avoid repetitive failures.
- 13. Liaison with Statutory and Govt agencies namely Legal Metrology / BARX / CPCB / APPCB etc.
- 14. Usage of SAP for procurement of spares & for plant maintenance.
- 15. Handling Maintenance Contracts and Contract Workmen pertaining to the Department.
- 16. Working to ISO 9001 series of Quality Management, EMS 14001, OHSAS 18001, Process Safety Management System (PSMS) & RC-14001 standards.
- 17. Training of subordinates and intradepartmental personnel through classroom sessions.
- 18. Ensuring adequate & competitive staffing in Instrumentation Department & Succession Planning.
