Slitting Supervisor

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in slitting rolls of plastics sheets into strips, rewinding strips into rolls of specified size, and in packaging, storing and shipping rolls.
- Directs workers in setting up slitting machine, and in packaging finished rolls and marking rolls with data, such as lot number and size.
- May supervise workers engaged in packaging and shipping only and be designated Supervisor, Shipping.
- Trains new employees.
- Coordinating with other departments, such as stores, to ensure smooth flow of goods from manufacturing to packaging.
- Ensuring that all goods are packed, wrapped, filled, labeled, and sealed correctly and efficiently.
- Managing staff on the production line, maintaining equipment, and meeting packaging quality standards.
- Procuring packaging materials and maintaining inventory of these materials.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production targets
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with other team members
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address packaging issues promptly
- Familiarity with operating and maintaining packaging machinery
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and schedules
- Physical stamina and dexterity for manual handling and repetitive tasks
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a production line environment

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
