Blink is always looking for talented and experienced Freelance Motion Designers that can be available to join our team for client/project-based design needs.

UI for mobile and desktop platforms or motion designers with experience in creating story-driven animation. If you can do both, that’s great. If you specialize in one or the other, that works for us too

Here is a bit more information about what freelancers can expect when working with Blink:

- We work with Freelancers on a project-to-project basis. Motion design projects at Blink vary in length and hours, so please let us know what your availability and preference is for work arrangements.
- We love working with Freelancers long-term, but work opportunities can come and go throughout a year. Our freelancer pool isn’t a great fit for people who prefer more full-time, permanent work.

**What could be doing if you work on motion design at Blink**:

- Helping us bring our interfaces to life in high-fidelity animated demo videos
- Helping us bring to life short, narrative-driven motion pieces that illustrate the user experience for ’s products or services
- Attending internal team meetings and external client meetings, working collaboratively to deliver work to our clients.

**What we are looking for**:

- A team player, capable of following a brief, or leading their own exploration
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects animation
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, or other industry-standard design software where you create your animation assets
- Experience planning (sketching and storyboarding), designing (illustration and visual design) and executing (animation) shots in narrative-driven video
- Experience in creating both graphic and character-driven animation, and a portfolio showcasing prior work.
- A great sense of timing and rhythm in animation

**It would be a bonus if you have**:

- Experience in 3D animation packages such as Cinema 4D or Maya
- Experience in character rigging (2D or 3D) and environment illustration
- Knowledge of how to get the best out of available plugins and scripts, but are also capable of working without third-party add-ons
- Experience leading animation teams
