Title- Direct Taxation - M7**Requirement**
- Qualification- Chartered Accountant- Experience.10-15 years and above

Domain knowledge in Direct Tax. Experience Banking and financial services with financial service experience preferred

**Advisory & Litigation
- Handling Tax litigation at all levels like CIT(A), Tribunal, High Court, Supreme Court
- Should have sound drafting knowledge to draft the reply E-Appeal independently with minimum guidance.
- Technically strong with solid knowledge and experience in taxation and regulations

Should have good understating of direct tax issues for the Banking & Financial Service (BFS) sector- Description**Litigation
- Coordination with Legal Counsels for strategy in litigation, doing research in applicable case laws, briefing the Counsel, Preparation of paper book, drafting writ, appeals before High Court/Supreme Court etc- Attending the Tribunal, High Court and Supreme Court for direct tax matters- Examining latest judicial decisions impacting the group- Drafting appeals before CIT (A) and Tribunal**Advisory
- Provide internal tax advisory, provide tax advice on transactions, TDS,-
- Examine the latest amendments in Budgets, circular, notification, FAQ, Judicial pronouncement and impact on the group- Advise business on business arrangements regarding relevant tax/regulatory implications and structuring opportunities- Vetting of various business arrangement agreements, SLAs etc and its tax impact.- International & Domestic Transfer Pricing- ISDA / International agreements review / withholding tax on international transactions- Vetting of SPA agreements, trust deeds, PPM, Contribution agreements for AIF, SID & SAI of Mutual Fund schemes etc,- Regular review of activities and annual compliance thereafter to ensure that appropriate and available tax benefits are availed by the company- Provide support on special tax projects- Tax research, resolution and correspondence**Compliance
- Oversee and perform as necessary tax compliance activities for Bank and Group companies- Preparing and reviewing tax returns of varying complexity.**Other
