**Title: Engineer - Embedded Applications**

**Reports to: Team Leader - Embedded Applications**

**Salary**: Upto 8L
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 2-6yrs

**Role Description**

The **Engineer - Embedded Applications** is responsible for embedded software features for Armstrong Products including performing tests, software security, debugging tools.

This position is located on-site in Bangalore, India with no requirement to travel.

In addition to annual initiatives, the key accountabilities of this position are:

- Develop the embedded features assigned to satisfy the product specification provided.
- Independently contribute to challenging embedded software projects.
- Develop internal and external documentation for the future assigned.
- Follow the company development standards and procedures, including those for documentation.

**Role Requirements**
- BE/BTechin Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication from a reputable Institute.
- 2yrs+ years of programming experience in embedded C.
- Knowledge on TI and ST microcontroller and tools is Plus
- Knowledge on communication protocols like Modbus, I2C and SPI is mandatory
- Knowledge on communication protocols like BACnet and CAN is plus
- Understanding of Motors, VFD’s, Sensors, Valves is a plus
- Theoretical and practical embedded firmware programming skills on 16/32-bit microcontrollers
- Should be able to read circuit diagrams.
- Must understand Embedded design life cycle.
- Familiarity with Software version control (SVN) and Bug / Defects tracking systems.
- Knowledge of software testing techniques
- Knowledge of ARM architecture-based processors and development tools a plus.

**Salary**: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
