**Job Purpose**:
To plan, execute and monitor the scheduled Mechanical Maintenance of Steam Turbine Generator ( STG) equipment to ensure the target availability of Mechanical equipment in order to achieve the objective of CPP within allotted budget and ensure all compliances and implementation all ABG safety standard.

**JOB PROFILE** - (Please select the most essential points & supporting actions of the role).

Ensure Smooth & reliable operation of Thermal Power plant with ensuring reliability of minor and major equipment’s along with assets. Keep priority for Environment and safety aspect in each task and work. Ensuring safe maintenance of Major equipment’s like Boilers and Turbines. Improvement of auxiliaries like BFPs, Fans, Air Cooled Condensers, CHP Conveyors and crusher. WTP - cooling towers, Ash handling systems. Ensure coordination with process and maintenance team of TPP Function/ Kiln Section, WCM & ISO Cell. Handling & leading in day to day abnormalities & coordinate for compliance with safe PTWs and planning’s

**Professional Experience description**: (state key experiences required):

- Basic exposure to operation and maintenance of AFBC, CFBC Boilers and steam turbines operation competency, safe maintenance practices for TPP Turbine & Boilers equipment’s and knowledge of process and related Hazard, Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment like Steam turbine and Boiler pressure parts, BFP, Fans, ESP, Gear Box & IBR. People management and coordination for team work, safe management during emergency & trouble shootings.

**Critical Job competencies / Mandatory Skills**:

- Experience of Steam turbine and its auxiliary system regular maintenance and handling Overhauling of TG Set. He should have well experience and knowledge of Boiler Pressure part, Rotary Equipment’s maintenance.
- Sound knowledge in CFBC and AFBC Boilers, Steam turbines, Water chemistry and material handling system, ESP, BFP, Fans operational and maintenance practice, well planner and spares management and development.
- Coordination of inter functional activities and collaboration with other functional task for TPP/ WHRS processes.
- Good experience in of SAP, PM tools, Inventory control, vendor development, basic knowledge of Budget & IBR.
- Demonstrate the safety and ensuring safety in work place with compliance of organisation’s audits and reports.
- Ensuring work area basic conditions 5S, Enhance Equipment reliability with OEE and adopting WCM culture/ tools

- Maintenance of STG Equipment: Supervise & coordinate mechanical maintenance activities of maintenance section to ensure the maximum availability of the equipment.

d) Prepare and execute shutdown activities and ensure entry of data & history in SAP
e) Supervise the planned maintenance activities and interact with operation department

g) Monitor and control cost of mechanical maintenance activities to minimize the same to achieve the budgeted figures
h) Develop alternate sources of spares and standardization of spares
i) Monitor and control contractor cost & overtime
j) Identify methods of improving component life through interaction with OEM / other companies
