**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Instruction and Curriculum Delivery**:

- Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and educational goals.
- Teach advanced biology concepts, including cell biology, genetics, ecology, and evolution, in a clear and engaging manner.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods and technologies to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design and administer assessments, including quizzes, exams, and practical assignments, to evaluate student progress and understanding.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve and achieve academic success.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- **Student Support**:

- Offer academic support and mentoring to students, addressing their individual needs and learning challenges.
- Encourage and facilitate student participation in extracurricular activities related to biology, such as science clubs and research projects.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the biology curriculum, ensuring it remains current and relevant.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in biology and integrate new knowledge into teaching practices.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in biology.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve the overall educational experience.
- **Administrative Duties**:

- Prepare and submit reports, lesson plans, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
- Attend faculty meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Master’s degree in Biology or a related field from an accredited institution. A teaching certification or qualification relevant to the educational jurisdiction is preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate level, with a proven track record of successful student outcomes.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of advanced biological concepts and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning needs.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools.
