Position Overview: As a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, you will specialize in providing assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services for individuals with pelvic floor dysfunction. Your role will involve evaluating and addressing a range of conditions affecting the pelvic region, including pelvic pain, urinary or fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and sexual dysfunction. You will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans, educate them about their condition, and empower them to improve their pelvic health.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pelvic floor dysfunction, including detailed history taking, physical examinations, and evaluation of pelvic floor muscle function. Use specialized assessment techniques, such as biofeedback or ultrasound, to assess muscle strength, coordination, and tone.

Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings and patient goals. Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including pelvic floor exercises, manual therapy techniques, behavioral strategies, and education on bladder and bowel habits.

Pelvic Floor Exercises: Teach and guide patients in performing pelvic floor exercises, such as Kegels or other targeted muscle training techniques. Provide instruction on proper technique, breathing coordination, and progression of exercises to improve pelvic muscle strength, endurance, and coordination.

Biofeedback and Electrical Stimulation: Use biofeedback devices or electrical stimulation to assess and enhance pelvic floor muscle activity. Provide guidance on utilizing these techniques to improve muscle awareness, coordination, and relaxation.

Patient Education: Educate patients about their condition, pelvic anatomy, and the role of pelvic floor muscles in maintaining pelvic health. Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, ergonomic principles, and strategies for managing symptoms. Educate patients on proper voiding and bowel habits, as well as sexual health and intimacy.

Rehabilitation and Support: Guide patients through the rehabilitation process, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment plans as needed. Offer emotional support and empower patients to actively participate in their treatment. Address concerns, fears, or misconceptions related to their condition and promote a positive healing environment.

Collaboration and Referrals: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as gynecologists, urologists, or psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients. Make referrals for additional diagnostic tests or specialized interventions when necessary.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes. Generate reports as required and communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and referring healthcare providers.

**Salary**: ₹12,025.43 - ₹38,291.64 per month
