Job Description: Data Entry Operator

Position Title: Data Entry Operator

Department: Administrative/Operations

Reports To: Data Manager/Supervisor

Location: Andheri

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Data Entry:
Accurately enter data from various source documents into the prescribed computer database, files, and forms.

Ensure the integrity of data entered by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.

Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required.

Data Management:
Maintain and update databases or records with new information as it becomes available.

Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.

Prepare and sort documents/data sheets for data entry.

Quality Assurance:
Verify data by comparing it to source documents.

Perform regular data backups to ensure data preservation.

Detect and correct errors in the data entry process.

Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative and clerical support including mailing, scanning, faxing, and copying.

Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.

Compliance:
Adhere to data privacy and confidentiality protocols.

Follow all company policies and procedures related to data handling and entry.

Communication:
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding data discrepancies and other issues.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

Qualifications:
Education: 12th pass with WNS certificate.

Experience: Previous experience in data entry or a similar administrative role is preferred. Freshers are accepted.

**Skills**:Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Excellent typing speed and accuracy.

Strong attention to detail.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions:
Typical office environment with extended periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
