PLC Programmer

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Automation Software Engineer Experience Requirements:
Knowledge of Rockwell software from PLC-5 to Studio 5000/Siemens PLC software in Step-7 and TIA.

Knowledge of other brand PLC software such as Mitsubishi, Omron etc. will be an added advantage.

Ability to interpret Electrical device layout, Electrical Schematic and Single Line Diagrams drawings in Autocad or E-Plan and develop software as per project functional requirements.

Ability to develop and debug PLC software for the system based on functional specifications, I/O listings and other interfaces required with third party equipment.

Knowledge of development and usage of functional block / AOI modules in PLC programs.

Knowledge of redundant server functionality when linked with PLC.

Knowledge of different communication protocols such as CAN bus, Profibus etc.

Ability to develop HMI screens & SCADA reports (various brands), Animations etc. and implement them at site.

Ability to develop hardware configuration for Rockwell, Seimens, Mitsubishi and other major brands.

Functional knowledge of electrical components such as Limit Switches, Proximity Sensors, Photo Sensors, Reed Swithces, Encoders, Bar Codes etc.

Knowledge of sizing of PLCs, VFDs, electrical switchgears etc. based on functional requirements.

Ability to interact with customer and other third party vendors of the customer to come up with a workable solution for the functional requirements of the system considering the brand preference of the customer.

Willing to travel to customer site for extended periods of time till complete commissioning of the system including PLC program, HMI Screens, SCADA Screens and And-ons.

Ability to train customers operational and maintenance personnel before handover of the system.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsible for software Design Approval Process (DAP) document sign-off from the customer.

Complete development of PLC software, HMI Screens, SCADA screens and other customer interfaces based on equipment functional description and commissioning at site.

Lead the site team during commissioning phase of the project including debugging, training of customer personnel and handover of the system to the customer.

**Salary**: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year

- Bommasandra Industrial Area, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
