- Assist students in identifying and setting achievable career goals, both short-term and long-term.
- **Resume and Cover Letter Assistance**:

- Offer workshops or one-on-one sessions to teach best practices in resume writing and formatting.
- **Job and internship placement**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with employers and industry professionals to create job and internship opportunities for students.
- **Career Development Workshops**:

- Organize and conduct workshops on various career-related topics, such as job searching strategies, networking, interview techniques, and professional etiquette.
- Invite guest speakers from various industries to provide insights and advice to students.
- **Industry and Job Market Research**:

- Stay updated on trends in various industries, particularly those relevant to the college's academic programs, and share this information with students.
- Provide students with resources and information on job market trends, salary expectations, and industry demands.
- **Alumni networking and mentoring**:

- Foster connections between current students and alumni to create mentorship opportunities and facilitate networking.
- Organize events such as alumni panels, career fairs, and networking mixers to help students build professional relationships.
- **Graduate School Counseling**:

- Provide resources and guidance for writing personal statements and preparing for interviews for graduate school.
- **Career Planning and Portfolio Development**:

- Help students develop career plans, including identifying necessary skills and experiences to reach their career objectives.
- Assist students in building a professional portfolio, including examples of work, certifications, and other relevant documents.
- **Resource Management**:

- Maintain and update a library of career resources, including job listings, industry guides, and graduate school information.
- Ensure that students have access to the latest tools and resources for career planning and job searching.
- **Follow-up and Tracking**:

- Track the career progress of graduates to assess the effectiveness of career services and make improvements as needed.
- Follow up with students after graduation to offer continued support and gather feedback on their career outcomes.
