- **Key Responsibilities**:

- Expert-level knowledge of SQL, Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL.
- Expert-level knowledge of logic and physical data modelling and database tuning.
- Maintain the governance model on the database architecture through training, design reviews,

code reviews and progress reviews.
- Experience with Azure, CI/CD, and modern SaaS software development methodologies and

practices.
- Participate in the development of Database Architecture and Roadmaps in support of business

strategies.
- Participate in the evaluation of emerging technology and tools.
- Experience with reporting tools (Power BI and/or Tableau).
- Experience with cloud and hybrid-cloud implementations including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
- Hands on experience working on solutions that collect, process, store and analyse large volumes

of business-critical data.
- Analyse existing data design and suggest improvements that promote performance, stability,

and interoperability.
- Work with development teams in migrating on-premises database to various Azure data stores.
- Determine how the enterprise's data will be stored and utilized to best provide actionable data

to the end user.

processes for disparate data sources.
- Monitor performance, alerting and security.
- Ensure backups are done in a timely manner.
- Work to perform timely data quality checks ensuring data consistency and quality.
- Provide database architecture leadership and mentor projects consisting of employees and

outside contractors.

Skills and Experience:

- SQL, Microsoft SQL Server/Azure SQL
- Knowledge of Power BI and/or Tableau
- Aware about the concepts of Logic and physical data modelling
- Cloud computation SaaS, PaaS and IaaS etc.
- Log monitoring, Backups, data quality and architecture.

Experience: 5-6 years.

Soft Skills: Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
