**Description**:
Role is responsible for the in-depth technical design review for Cluster, Display, and IVI products to meet the functional requirements, validation requirements and Visteon standard design requirements within given cost target.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Review HW design for Electrification products like BMS and Power controllers to meet the functional requirements, to achieve the validation requirements while following the Visteon design guidelines
- Bring-in innovation in design approach to achieve tight cost and quality targets
- Review and approve the design at each quality check gate during hardware development and ensures the product is being built with intended cost and quality.
- Work closely with engineering team to ensue resolution of inter-competency issue in benefit of program time line and compliance to requirements and quality.
- Drives continuous skill upgrade among hardware engineers by visualizing the upcoming technical challenges, provide technical guidance to design team
- Review the field issue analysis and Guide team to resolve field issue,
- Guide & Reviews hardware quote response to PD Quote Leader
- Interact with teams in different regions and achieve consensus to ensure productive outcome.

Desired Competencies:

- Deep knowledge of embedded electronics products, strong capability in component level design and interface verification, shall be able to carry out detailed design reviews
- Well experienced on multi-core processors and SoCs regarding features and interfacing details
- High speed interfaces like DDR4, NOR Flash, eMMCs, Ethernet etc.
- Shall be able to identify the design risks upfront and provide resolutions
- Well versed on design practices to achieve demanding cost and reliability targets
- Well experienced on HW design trends for Mobility, Connectivity, Display, Driver Information
- Shall have understanding on EMC requirements and how to build a reliable product for automotive domain
- Shall have appreciation for DFM, DFT, DFMEA, Built-in-quality
- Should be able to guide the team for delivering successful product development with optimized resource utilization.

Leadership skills:
Decisive Action-oriented and high personal accountability takes full responsibility for technical decisions & results. Practice collaborative approach and coach team members to improve their technical capability. Shall share knowledge and promote interest for learning with team members.

**Experience**:
15-18 years of experience in an embedded product development and team management.

Automotive engineering experience is an advantage.
