**Job Summary**:
The Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the stewarding team and ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen and back-of-house areas. The role supports culinary operations by maintaining proper sanitation standards and ensuring the smooth operation of kitchen utilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen stewards, dishwashers, and cleaners.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and sanitized properly.
- Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen and service areas, including dishwashing areas, storerooms, and garbage disposal units.
- Monitor the use and stock of cleaning supplies, and place requisitions when needed.
- Train new stewarding staff and ensure hygiene standards are met according to hotel policy.
- Schedule stewarding shifts and manage attendance to ensure proper coverage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (FSSAI / HACCP).
- Coordinate with the culinary team to support kitchen operations smoothly.
- Conduct regular inspections of cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of stewarding equipment and chemicals.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in stewarding or housekeeping supervision in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.
- Strong organizational and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of hotel kitchen operations and hygiene standards.
- Ability to handle physical workload and stand for long periods.
