5.2. Responsible for managing Raw materials, Packing materials, Engineering materials, Stationary materials & General materials in Stores.

5.3. Overall responsibility for receiving the materials after the verification of purchase orders.

5.4. Overall responsibility for preservation and storage of materials.

5.5. Overall responsibility for issue of materials to various departments.

5.6. Overall responsibility for the transfer of materials to other units.

5.7. Overall responsibility for dispatch of materials for job works.

5.8. Responsible for the logistics with respect to receipt and dispatch of materials.

5.9. Interacting with Plant Purchase & Import Purchase department for timely procurement of materials.

5.11. Responsible for the maintenance of stock of compounding chemicals taken from stores to shop floor.
