Advanced Excel and Power BI Faculty (Hourly Basis)*

**Department:* **Information Technology / Business Analytics

**Position Overview**:*

**Job Responsibilities:**
- Deliver high-quality instruction in *Advanced Excel* and *Power BI* to students.
- Design and develop course materials, lesson plans, assignments, and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
- Teach data analysis, data visualization, and business intelligence concepts using Excel and Power BI.
- Ensure practical, hands-on learning experiences through exercises, case studies, and projects.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Excel and Power BI features, ensuring students receive cutting-edge knowledge.
- Evaluate students' progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the academic team to align teaching methods with industry demands.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the improvement of the curriculum

**Qualifications and Experience:**
**- Proficiency in Advanced Excel**:Knowledge of formulas, macros, pivot tables, data validation, VBA, data modeling, and reporting tools.
**- *Power BI Expertise**:Experience with Power BI dashboards, data modeling, DAX formulas, and visualization techniques.
**- *Educational Background**:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
**- *Experience**:Minimum 2-3 years of teaching or professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related domains.
**- *Certifications**:Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) or similar certifications in Excel and Power BI will be an advantage.

**- **Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for students with varying levels of expertise.
- Hands-on approach with the ability to make learning interactive and engaging.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to assist students with real-world scenarios.

**- **Flexible hours, with classes scheduled based on faculty and student availability.
- Compensation on an hourly basis, with rates to be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
