Security Guard

1. To keep the Gates closed always.

2. To establish the identity of the employees entering the premises.

3. To allow the visitors enter the premises only after the permission is obtained from the concerned departmental Manager / Executive.

4. To prepare visitor pass and log the timings (Entry time and Exit time) in the Visitors Register kept at the Gate.

5. To ensure all visitors have exited the premises by closing hrs and report the particulars of the visitors who are staying back even after the closing time.

6. To ensure all vehicles are parked only in the parking area and it is not blocking the way, vehicles should be in ready to drive out position.

7. To inform security supervisor before leaving the place at the time of tea break, lunch break etc for replacing the security guards.

8. To check all employees for restricting beedi, cigarettes, paan masala, Tobacco etc. inside the premises.

9. Entering kilometers reading in the vehicle movement register.

10. Contractor’s tools are to be accounted in the register and clear the same after thorough checking while returning.

11. Attend all the telephone calls and note down messages if any and intimate to concern person.

12. Visitors are to be allowed only if they have prior appointment with concerned individual. If not ask the concern person, obtain permission and allow inside with visitor pass.

13. Do not give residence telephone numbers of any staff / Managers of company to outsiders.

14. Must go on Night patrolling and record the information in BIOMETRIC.

15. Ensure to switch on and off the motors at the given time and check the water tank.

16. If the power goes OFF and Generator doesn’t start up in 20 seconds, contact the electrician immediately and intimate the same to Operations Manager.

17. In case of any abnormal noise / smoke / Leak noticed during rounds from any machines, immediately it should be stopped and intimate to maintenance team and Operations Manager.

18. All lights / street lights to be switched ON / OFF as per natural requirements. Do not keep lights On inside the building when not necessary.

19. Physical verification of material going in/out at the gate as per Gate pass or DC.

20. Frisking and searching of employees/contractors/drivers and their baggage who are going out.

21. Up keep of electronic security gadgets/ surveillance system.

22. Identify suspicious movements in and around hospital premises.

23. Liaison with local police & Authorities to get immediate help in case of emergency, keep the Management informed.

24. Maintain a professional manner, when dealing with an irate person, the guard should make all attempts to de-escalate the situation and take control.

25. To ensure optimal safety, the security guard needs to work as a team with other security personnel, and not allow any personal differences to interfere with professional relationships.

26. Effective communication is critical to safety. Security guards need to communicate with one another so everyone is on the same page.

27. Each guard should be able to rely on one another, especially in the event of an emergency.

28. A guard should always respect the chain of command and talk directly to his supervisor regarding any issues that concern him.

Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
