Staff Nurse (Labor Room)**

Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Monitor Vital Signs**: Regularly check and record vital signs of mother and baby.
- **Labor Support**: Offer pain management techniques and emotional support.
- **Administer Medications**: Administer prescribed medications safely.
- **Assist in Delivery**:Support the obstetrician or midwife during delivery.
- **Newborn Care**:Provide immediate care, including Apgar scoring and suctioning.
- **Postpartum Care**:Monitor and care for the mother after delivery.
- **Education**: Educate mothers on labor, postpartum, and newborn care.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate medical records.
- **Infection Control**: Follow infection control protocols.
- **Emergency Response**: Respond to complications and emergencies.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: B. Sc Nursing/GNM
- **Licensure**: Valid Registration Number.
- **Experience**:Previous labor and delivery experience preferred.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- **Clinical Skills**:Proficient in obstetric and neonatal care.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- **Critical Thinking**:Ability to manage complex clinical situations.
- **Compassion**:Provide empathetic care and support.

**Working Conditions**:

- **Environment**:Hospital labor and delivery unit.
- **Shifts**:Rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- **Physical Demands**: Standing for long periods, lifting patients, and handling equipment.

This role is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
