Job Title: IT Lab Technician

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals.

3. Monitor and maintain computer labs, ensuring smooth operation.

4. Assist students, faculty, and staff with technical issues.

5. Configure and manage network devices, switches, and routers.

6. Perform routine backups and maintain data security.

7. Collaborate with IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.

8. Conduct hardware and software inventory management.

9. Develop and maintain technical documentation.

10. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

**Requirements**:
1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

2. 1-2 years of experience in IT support or related field.

3. CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certifications.

4. Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.

5. Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

6. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
1. Experience with virtualization (VMware, VirtualBox).

2. Knowledge of database management systems.

3. Familiarity with IT service management tools (HelpDesk, Ticketing systems).

4. Certification in cloud computing (AWS, Azure).
