**Job Title**: Safety Officer

**Location**: Delhi (On-site)

**Job Summary**:
The **Safety Officer** is responsible for ensuring workplace safety, compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. This role involves **risk assessment, safety training, compliance monitoring, and emergency preparedness** to minimize workplace hazards and ensure a secure environment.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Risk Assessment & Safety Inspections**:

- Conduct **regular safety inspections** and risk assessments at work sites.
- Identify **potential hazards** and work with management to develop preventive measures.

**2. Safety Procedures & Policy Implementation**:

- Develop, implement, and enforce **workplace safety policies** and procedures.
- Ensure strict **compliance with health and safety regulations**.

**3. Safety Training & Awareness**:

- Conduct **safety training programs** for employees, covering induction, emergency procedures, and workplace hazards.
- Educate staff on **safety practices, fire drills, and emergency protocols**.

**4. Incident Investigation & Reporting**:

- Investigate **accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents** to determine root causes.
- Prepare detailed **incident reports** and recommend **corrective actions**.

**5. Emergency Preparedness**:

- Develop and maintain **emergency response plans** (e.g., fire drills, evacuation procedures).
- Conduct regular **emergency drills** to ensure staff preparedness.

**6. Safety Equipment & PPE Compliance**:

- Ensure the proper use of **Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)**.
- Regularly inspect and maintain **safety equipment**.

**7. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting**:

- Stay updated with **health and safety regulations** and implement necessary updates.
- Prepare reports on **safety performance** and recommend improvements.

**8. Documentation & Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate records of **safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance audits**.

**9. Collaboration & Safety Culture Development**:

- Work with management and employees to **promote a strong safety culture**.
- Collaborate with **departments to resolve safety issues** efficiently.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Bachelor’s degree/Diploma** in **Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science**, or a related field (preferred).
- **3-4 years** of experience as a **Safety Officer** in **construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors**.

**Skills & Certifications**:

- Strong knowledge of **safety regulations and workplace safety best practices**.
- Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills**.
- Strong **organizational and problem-solving skills**.
- Ability to conduct **safety inspections** in various environments.
- **Certifications in Occupational Health and Safety** (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) are a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
