**Job Title**: WordPress Designer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop responsive WordPress websites from scratch or customize existing themes based on client or project requirements.
- Create visually appealing layouts and user interfaces, focusing on usability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
- Customize and integrate WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure the website meets both design and functional specifications.
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites, ensuring they are secure, optimized, and up-to-date with the latest software updates and plugins.
- Implement SEO best practices to enhance the website’s search engine ranking and visibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website performance, design, and user experience.
- Work on cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness for seamless user experiences across devices.
- Assist in creating landing pages, pop-ups, and other marketing assets within WordPress.
- Provide ongoing website support, making improvements as needed and advising on best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience designing and developing websites using WordPress.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and widget functionality.
- Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools.
- Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and implementing on-page SEO.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other analytics tools.
- Strong visual design skills and an understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug website issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce.
- Familiarity with custom theme development and plugin customization.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Experience with website hosting, backups, and security measures.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

**Work Environment**:
