**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct routine chemical analysis and quality testing of refined oil, by-products, and process samples.
- Check FFA (Free Fatty Acid), moisture, peroxide value, iodine value, and other oil quality parameters.
- Perform testing for water, effluent, and chemicals used in refinery processes.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, and food safety standards.
- Prepare and standardize chemical reagents and solutions for lab testing.
- Maintain calibration and proper functioning of laboratory instruments (GC, ICP, Spectrophotometer, Titration setups, etc.).
- Record and analyze test results, prepare reports, and share findings with production/QA team.
- Assist in process optimization by monitoring bleaching, neutralization, and deodorization.
- Ensure good laboratory practices (GLP), hygiene, and safe chemical handling.
- Support internal and external audits related to quality and food safety.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Oil Technology / Food Technology.
- Experience as a Chemist in edible oil refinery, or related chemical processing plant.
- Knowledge of edible oil refining process and quality control standards.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments (GC, ICP, Spectrophotometer, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Word for report preparation.
- Awareness of food safety standards.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
