Suki is creating a new category in the health-tech space: the digital assistant. Our product will be the voice user interface for healthcare. What does that mean? Currently, doctors use electronic health record systems to take notes on patient encounters. This is a digital version of the paper charts that you may have seen in your doctor's office or on TV. These systems can be hard to navigate and time-consuming to manage. Doctors would rather spend that time with patients. We are creating the solution. **What will you do every day?**

As an **Staff SDET** at Suki you will own and drive the functionality, performance and stress test roadmap for Suki's industry leading advanced AI/ML driven platform. You will develop automated tests, testing tools and processes. You will collaborate with product, design & engineering teams in an agile development environment. You will also work cross-functionally with related teams such as Product, Technical Operations, and Release Management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Significantly Improves automation code structure and framework architecture in terms of maintainability, execution speed and coverage
- Drives the design/code review process for test automation frameworks
- Is accountable for ensuring that their team has strong sets of documentations and journals of how their test design and architecture/product evolves over time
- Prioritizes and values maintenance/tech dept of automation framework
- Participates in prioritization of cross-team automation initiatives & leads those within their own teams
- Splits complex test engineering tasks into smaller components which can be developed by junior engineers on the team
- Mentors other engineers on an individual basis and guide them with their career development
- Actively participates in the hiring process for SDETs

**Qualifications**
- 10+ yrs of experience in automation testing, architecting and implementing QA processes
- Proficient with gQL, gRPC, REST API, microservices, GCP etc
- Proficient with one object oriented programming language, preferably Java
- Proficient with testing frameworks on API/Mobile/Web (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, RestAssured, Jmeter/Gatlings)
- Strong analytical and communications skills
- Self starter with the ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- BA/BS degree in CS or EE; MS/PhD a plus
- Previous start-up experience is a plus

**Working at Suki**:
Our hybrid model offers the perfect balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility which includes three days in the office (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and two days work from home (Thursday and Friday).The role is located in Bangalore and will require working from office three days a week.
