East Point Group Of institutions Looking for Lab instructor for its Engineering College.
Qualifications:
1. Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science).

2. Experience:

- Fresher-3 years of experience in a similar role in an engineering institution or technical laboratory.
- Prior experience in conducting lab experiments, equipment maintenance, and working with students in a hands-on learning environment is preferred.

3. Skills:

- Strong technical knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline and laboratory techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with faculty and students effectively
- Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, instruments, and software tools.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

4. Personal Attributes:

- Familiarity with modern lab technologies, simulation software, and industry-grade equipment
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.
- A proactive attitude towards improving lab processes and enhancing the student experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lab Session Management:

- Ensure that all lab experiments are conducted in accordance with the curriculum and lab manual.
- Prepare and organize materials, tools, and equipment for practical sessions.
- Provide guidance to students during practical experiments, ensuring they understand the objectives and

safety protocols.

2. Equipment and Lab Maintenance:

- Ensure proper setup, operation, and storage of lab equipment, instruments, and tools.
- Perform regular checks and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
- Report any damage, malfunction, or need for repairs to the Lab In-charge or department head promptly.
- Keep accurate records of equipment inventory, usage, and maintenance schedules.

3. Student Support and Guidance:

- Assist students in performing experiments, providing guidance on methodologies, techniques, and data

collection.
- Supervise students during lab sessions to ensure safety, discipline, and adherence to the instructions

provided.
- Provide individual or group support to students who may need additional help with lab work.

4. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure that safety standards are strictly followed during all lab activities, including the use of personal

protective equipment (PPE), proper disposal of waste materials, and safe handling of chemicals or machinery.
- Conduct periodic safety drills and ensure students are aware of emergency protocols.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations as outlined by the institution, industry standards, and regulatory authorities.

5. Record keeping and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate records of lab attendance, experiments conducted, and results.
- Assist in preparing reports for lab sessions, including feedback on students’ performance, areas of improvement, and any incidents or safety concerns.
- Contribute to the preparation of lab manuals, experiment guides, and teaching materials as required by

faculty.

6. Continuous improvement:

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in engineering technologies and laboratory practices.
- Suggest improvements or updates to lab experiments, materials, or equipment to enhance the student learning experience.
- Participate in faculty meetings and workshops to provide insights on lab-related issues and innovations.

7. Administrative Support:

- Assist in the preparation of lab schedules, ensuring that students are informed of session timings and requirements.
- Collaborate with other lab instructors or department staff to plan and coordinate lab activities.
- Assist with any additional administrative tasks assigned by the department or college management related to the lab.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
