Overview:
**Job Summary**:
As a Juniper MIST WiFi Operations Level 3 Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the operational aspects of Juniper MIST WiFi networks. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of the wireless infrastructure. You will handle complex technical issues and provide advanced troubleshooting support to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers. Additionally, you will collaborate with the design and implementation teams to optimize and enhance network operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Network Monitoring and Management: Monitor the performance of Juniper MIST WiFi networks using various monitoring tools. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to minimize network downtime.
- Incident and Problem Management: Respond to and resolve escalated incidents related to Juniper MIST WiFi infrastructure. Investigate complex network problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Network Optimization: Continuously analyze network performance data to identify areas for improvement. Implement optimization strategies to enhance wireless network efficiency, coverage, and throughput.
- Configuration Management: Manage configurations and updates of Juniper MIST WiFi devices. Ensure consistency across the network and maintain proper backups.
- Security Management: Enforce network security policies and configurations in line with industry best practices. Implement security measures to protect the wireless network from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Change Management: Plan and execute network changes while following established change management procedures. Minimize risks and disruptions during change implementation.
- Documentation: Create and maintain accurate network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design and implementation engineers, to support new network deployments and upgrades.
- Vendor Relations: Engage with Juniper support and product specialists to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Provide feedback and insights for product improvements.
- Training and Mentoring: Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to Level 1 and Level 2 engineers, contributing to their professional development and improving team capabilities.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Proven experience in managing and operating wireless networks, with specific experience in Juniper MIST WiFi solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLAN, WLAN, etc.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and network management systems.
- Solid knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
- Industry certifications such as JNCIP-WLAN, CCNP Wireless, CWNP, etc., are a plus.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
