**About the opportunity**:
We’re looking for a skilled, professional, and detail-oriented content writer for ongoing writing needs in various industries including Travel, Finance, Lifestyle, and Non-Profits.

We need someone who has a knack for making high-quality website copy with an understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.

**You will be responsible for**:
Common roles cum responsibilities of content writer include (but are not limited to):

- Responsible for creating comprehensive, informative, and user-friendly content for a variety of niche projects.
- Create educational, research-backed copy that helps readers understand complex information in an informative, clear, accessible manner.
- Research topics, create listicles and guides, create use case scenarios, list out features, and write tutorials.
- Collaborate with the content team on numerous accounts, finalize the strategy, seek feedback, and share new ideas.
- Develop content briefs, finalize plans, and bring clients’ digital marketing strategies to life through writing.
- Create your own content calendar and adhere to the timelines.
- Perform extensive research, examine the competition, and use SEO best practices to produce error-free content.
- Review, edit, and proofread content for spelling errors, grammar, tone, and style preferences.
- Providing guidance for the website editor to publish your content, reviewing the final content, and providing feedback.

**You will be a great fit if**:
We are looking for the following abilities, skillsets, and experience:

- 2+ years of writing/editing experience, with an established portfolio.
- You are an enthusiastic writer who loves to write every day and does it for fun; it’s not a chore for you.
- Self-starter who is capable of self-editing, self-revising, and self-proofreading all written content.
- Experience in keyword research and ability to research topics and new ideas for your project.
- Ability to write blog posts, listicles, tutorials, website copy, landing pages, and FAQs for various industries.
- Understanding of on-page and off-page search engine optimization, as well as the ability to follow SEO best practices.
- Understanding of WordPress and Digital Marketing.
- Able to take feedback from multiple internal teams and clients.
- A proficient user of Microsoft Word, including the ability to track changes.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities, paying attention to details, and completing assignments within deadlines.
