Autocad Draftman

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting and Design**:

- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks for casting components.
- Develop technical drawings and layouts based on engineering specifications.
- **Casting Simulation**:

- Utilize casting simulation software (e.g., MAGMASOFT, FLOW-3D, or similar) to analyze and optimize casting designs.
- Identify and resolve defects or issues in designs during the simulation phase.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet technical requirements.
- Modify and revise designs based on feedback and production feasibility.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of all design files and revisions.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports as needed.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a draftsman in the casting industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with casting simulation software is required.

**Skills Required**:

- Strong technical drawing and drafting skills.
- Good understanding of casting processes and manufacturing methods.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
