**Platform Architect**

Typical work-related activities include:

- Close collaboration with Technical Campaign Managers, Client Services Teams, Marketing Strategists, & Developers to design and execute complex, data-driven marketing programs and automation's.
- Deliver formal in-depth capability and configuration assessments of client's marketing data & technology solutions.
- Interview key client stakeholders to understand current process/technology pain points and develop future state solution requirements.
- Author marketing data & technology optimization roadmaps for clients
- Perform solution design and create technical architectures for marketing automation platform implementations as well as migrations between platforms.
- Define & present recommendations for executive-level audiences relating to marketing data & technology.

**Job Requirements**
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with technical, non-technical, and executive audiences
- Five (5) plus years of experience with at least two (2) of the following enterprise Marketing Automation Platforms / Customer Engagement Platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Cordial, Adobe Experience Cloud (AEP), Acoustic, Eloqua, Responsys, Marketo, Message Gears_ (Cordial Experience is a plus)_
- Three (3) plus years of experience working in a fast-paced marketing agency or professional services environment.
- Two (2) plus years of experience working with REST and SOAP API payloads
- Two (2) plus years of SQL experience and ability to write, edit and troubleshoot custom SQL queries.
- Two (2 +) plus years of experience assessing clients marketing data & technology environments and documenting optimization recommendations.
- Led multiple marketing automation platform implementations/migrations for enterprise-level clients.
- Understanding of marketing database and data management technologies (both on-premises and cloud-based) as well as relational database architecture
- Strong organizational skills and proactive manner
- Uncanny ability to learn how to use innovative technology.
- Client-facing experience
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly in both oral and written communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, VBA), PowerPoint, Word experience creating and building audience filters, looping blocks, content blocks, dynamic blocks, API posts, FTP import templates, UTM & other tracking parameters.
- Experience managing quality assurance/control (QA/QC) process and protocols for sign off on campaign deliverables, including creating holdout groups, proofing groups, and adding a custom suppression list.
- Experience with project management tools (Workfront, Basecamp, Microsoft Project, Teamwork, Etc.) a huge plus
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, MIS, IT or related field strongly preferred.
- Experience with Object-Oriented programming languages is a plus.
