**Job Opening**: Turner, Riggers and Fitters (ITI)
**Location**: Pune (Lonavala)
**Experience**:2-5 years
**Qualification**: ITI Fitter / ITI Turner certification from a recognized institute (Interns will also do)
Core Responsibilities
- Machining and fitting of precision components for instrumentation and scanning devices.
- Maintenance and assembly of mechanical systems related to X-ray or radioactive detection equipment.
- On-site servicing, including alignment, calibration, and installation support. Qualification
- ITI Fitter / ITI Turner certification from a recognized institute. - Additional certification in instrumentation, radiation safety, or equipment calibration is a bonus. Experience
- Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with X-ray baggage scanners, XRF machines, or density/level gauges.
- Exposure to working in radiation-regulated environments.
- Familiarity with AERB (Atomic Energy Regulatory Board) guidelines is an advantage.
Skills & Knowledge
- Operating lathe machines and other metalworking equipment to shape and cut metal components.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to determine machining parameters.
- Setting up and operating machines to perform various machining operations, such as turning, drilling, and milling.
- Ensuring accuracy and quality of machined parts through measurement and inspection.
Rigger Responsibilities:
- Preparing and deploying rigging equipment (chains, slings, hooks) to lift and move heavy loads.
- Assessing the weight and center of gravity of loads to ensure safe handling. - Using hand signals and communication systems to direct crane operators and other workers.
- Inspecting rigging equipment for damage and ensuring it meets safety standards.
Fitter Responsibilities:
- Assembling and fitting mechanical components, such as pipes, valves, pumps, and other machinery parts.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand assembly requirements.
- Using hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure proper alignment, fit, and clearance of components.
- Conducting preventive maintenance and routine inspections to identify and rectify potential issues.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with machinery and equipment, and performing necessary repairs. Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory but Strong Advantage)
- Radiation Worker Permit (if working near radioactive sources).
- BARC/AERB Radiation Safety Training (can be provided post-hire too).
- Basic Electrical Safety or Mechanical Equipment Maintenance courses.
**Salary**: Based on experience and skills (15K to 20K)
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
