Data Scientist

- Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, preprocess, and analyse structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, including SQL databases and cloud storage.
- Develop, train, and optimize classical machine learning models and deep learning architectures to solve complex business problems.
- Build and deploy NLP and generative AI models (e.g., transformers, LLMs) for tasks such as text classification, entity recognition, and content generation.
- Design end-to-end machine learning pipelines on cloud platforms (GCP or Azure), ensuring scalability, automation, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, software developers, and product managers to integrate AI solutions into products and workflows.
- Perform rigorous model evaluation, tuning, and validation to ensure robustness and accuracy.
- Communicate technical results and business insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, NLP, and cloud technologies to continuously improve our methodologies and solutions.
- Mandatory Skills and Experience:

- 3-5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or related role.
- Proficient in Python programming and relevant ML/DL libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience with classical machine learning algorithms and deep learning models.
- Solid experience in NLP techniques and developments, including working with generative AI models like GPT, or similar transformer-based architectures.
- Experience with relational database management systems, specifically PostgreSQL, including querying and data manipulation.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure for building and deploying machine learning models.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools is a plus.
- Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
