**Responsibilities**:
**Patient Consultation and Examination**:

- Conduct thorough dental examinations to assess the oral health of patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients to understand their dental concerns and provide appropriate treatment options.

**Treatment Planning**:

- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on the diagnosis, considering the patient's oral health needs and preferences.
- Discuss and explain treatment options, ensuring patient understanding and consent.

**Basic Dental Procedures**:

- Perform routine dental procedures, including but not limited to cleanings, fillings, extractions, and minor oral surgeries.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.

**Educate Patients**:

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care measures.
- Provide guidance on post-treatment care and follow-up appointments.

**Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and clinical notes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices.

**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with the dental team, including dental assistants and hygienists, to ensure smooth workflow and excellent patient care.

**Continuing Education**:

- Stay informed about the latest advancements in dentistry.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Must have completed internship or equivalent clinical training.
- The valid dental license in the state of Tamil Nadu.
