Surveyor

We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Wastepicker Surveyors. As a Wastepicker Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in helping us gather essential data on waste collection, waste management, and the socio-economic conditions of wastepickers. This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the lives of people who contribute to the recycling ecosystem.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct field surveys to gather data on wastepicker activities in specified areas.
- Record data related to the wastepickers' working conditions, income, access to resources, and health.
- Engage with wastepickers in a respectful and professional manner to collect information.
- Observe and document the waste management practices in the community.
- Assist in mapping waste picker locations and activities for further analysis.
- Ensure accurate data collection and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure survey goals are met.
- Provide recommendations based on field observations to improve waste management practices.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Higher education is a plus).
- Previous experience in field research, data collection, or community outreach is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Good communication skills in [language(s) spoken in the area].
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge or interest in waste management and sustainability is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of data entry and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Forms) is preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
