**Individual & Societies Teacher (MYP & DP)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement assessments that reflect the IB’s criteria-based evaluation and support academic integrity.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs, abilities, and interests.
- **Guide students through MYP projects** (e.g., Community Project, Personal Project) and support extended essays or internal assessments in the DP.
- Use inquiry-based, student-centered pedagogy to promote critical thinking, global awareness, and intercultural understanding.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and contribute to curriculum review and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and IB training workshops.
- Support the school’s mission and values, and contribute to extracurricular activities and school life.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Valid teaching certification/license.
- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience, ideally in an IB MYP and DP.
- IB training (MYP and/or DP) is highly desirable.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Passionate about inquiry-based learning and international education.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Experience as an IB Examiner or Coordinator is an advantage.
- Experience with digital teaching tools and platforms (e.g., ManageBac, Google Classroom).
- Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and collaboration.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
