**Summary**:
The Senior SAP BASIS (Business Application Software Integrated Solution) Administrator partners with internal and external functional, technical and security resources to maintain the life-cycle management, security, and performance of SAP On Prem systems with a cloud environment. Responsible for running the SAP landscape (managing routine maintenance, operation, and upgrades), and plays a critical role in planning and executing migrations and other major projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Expert in handling System upgrades and Migration using DMO option of SUM including Unicode conversion.
- Lead the implementation of Unicode conversion and upgrade plus overall security strategies and schemes post upgrade and Unicode conversion.
- Worked on NetWeaver Portal upgrades.
- Configure and maintain the integration between on-prem SAP and non-SAP systems as well as the ones between on-prem SAP and other cloud systems like Ariba, Success Factors and IBP, via the use of SAP PO/PI, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP BTP, Integration Suite and HCI-DS agents.
- Lead the post upgrade remediation and update of overall security strategies and schemes to ensure the proper level of authorization is provided for all users of all the SAP systems - both on-prem and cloud systems. Lead with the development of guidelines for deploying these strategies throughout the Qorvo organization and adhere with SOX guidelines.
- Monitor the system performance on a regular basis against the performance benchmarks, and proactively identify future issues and plan to optimize performance.Lead the execution of the upgrades for all the on-prem SAP systems including the integration components like the Hana Cloud Connector and HCI-DS agents. This includes Support Packages and release level upgrades. Ensure that all components like SAP Kernel and Database remain current.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or related field (MIS, IT) required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP Basis administration, implementation and support.
- Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture, database management, and operating systems (e.g, Windows, Linux and SQL)
- Experienced in SAP Migration Projects including SUM and DMO.
- Experience with SAP EHP upgrades, migrations, and integrations using DMO option.
- Proficiency in SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of SAP security and compliance requirements.
- Certified consultant either in OS/DB Migration or SAP BASIS Fundamentals
- Critical/logical thinking to locate problems and assess from a variety of perspectives to solve.
- Ability to explain complex systems and technical topics in a clear, concise manner to others who may have mínimal technical knowledge.
- Passion for documentation including diagrams, standards, and project papers.
