**Job Purpose**

The Credit Controller will be responsible for completing credit management activities and maintaining accurate records for the company. This will include authorizing and managing of credit in line with established policies and approvals. You will have a significant role in implementing and enforcing credit management processes within the team.

You will report to the India Hub Lead, ensuring that credit management reports prepared for reporting meet accounting best practise and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform credit management activities
- Review and validate new customer credit assessment requests
- Assess new customer credit risk
- Assess customer credit limit extension requests
- Manage and track credit hold reports and existing customer/portfolio credit risk, balancing risk to minimize potential nonpayment and creation of bad debt
- Review and provide recommendations on credit limit, exposure, and risk category in line with credit policies
- Support with queries from regulatory authorities and external auditors
- Work with and support team in day-to-day activities including issues requiring judgement and expertise
- Support overall team goals and objectives
- Support continuous improvement of the AR processes in the Shared Service Centre (SSC)
- Work with the China Hub Lead to execute O2C process strategy
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency of systems and processes
- Ensure performance targets are met and raise issues if targets are not achieved
- Demonstrate and champion process expertise supporting O2C Global Process Owners (GPO) initiatives
- Ensure credit management compliance
- Perform prescribed credit management activities within defined credit policies and ensure all credit authorisations are processed in accordance
- Ensure credit management activities prior to and during period end close are compliant with the fiscal close calendar, ensuring adequate time for collaboration with various teams impacted
- Ensure all O2C controls are adhered to and documented appropriately
- Inform colleagues and stakeholders about procedural and regulatory requirements
- Support the implementation of risk management process and associated controls in line with company policies
- Respond to requests from regulatory authorities and auditors
