Mandate skills - JavaScript Programmer or SDET or JavaScript + Cypress

Job Title: JavaScript Automation Tester (SDET)

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with development and testing teams to understand and analyze user stories
- Create and maintain automated test scripts [UI/Non UI] using JavaScript and relevant automation frameworks
- Execute and monitor automated test suites to ensure maximum coverage and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects
- Analyze test results and report issues to the development team
- Continuously evaluate and improve the automation framework and test coverage
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall software development process

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software testing and automation
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and web development technologies
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- Work Experience in the FinTech / Mortgage / Mortgage Insurance is preferred
- Hands on experience in designing the complex SQL queries (using Joints / Storedprocedures)
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have Qualifications:

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or Java is a value add
