**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vendor Sourcing & Management**:

- Research, evaluate, and liaise with potential and existing vendors to ensure the best pricing, quality, and timely delivery of materials.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- **Negotiation Skills**:

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other terms with vendors to optimize costs and timelines.
- Ensure the most competitive and beneficial procurement arrangements.
- **Procurement & Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, vendors, pricing, and contract details.
- Monitor and track the procurement process to ensure all material requirements are met on time.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Review and inspect the quality of purchased products to ensure they meet company standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve any issues related to purchased materials.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Track stock levels and ensure timely ordering to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure efficient inventory management practices are in place to minimize wastage and optimize stock levels.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- **Education**:

- Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a Graduate in any relevant field.
- **Experience**:

- 2 to 4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the chemical industry.
- **Skills**:

- Strong understanding of vendor sourcing practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes in the chemical industry is an advantage.
- **Additional Requirements**:

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
