Top 3 things the hiring manager is looking for:
Should have very good experience in understanding the Requirements/Designs and Breaking them into the Test Scenarios/Cases and Write them in the Gherkin Format.
Strong Experience in the Mobile Application Testing (both iOS and Android).
Top 3 Tasks or Responsibilities in scope for this role:
Working with the Test Lead, Dev Team and Cross Functions to Understand the Requirements/Designs/Scope of UserStory/Task.
Efficiently converting them into the Test Gherkins, Documenting the same and then translating them into Automation Scripts.
Executing both Manual and Automation Scenarios and Documenting as per the process.
Required Knowledge and Experience
8+ years of Software industry experience.
Proficiency with one or more of the following programming languages: Java,, Java Script, Groovy, Python, Objective C or any equivalent
5+ years of experience in Software/Test framework Design & architecture
Experience using BDD test tools frameworks like SpecFlow, Cucumber, or Gherkin is an advantage
Experience using tools like Appium, Selenium.
Familiarity and understanding of the following operating systems: Android and IOS
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall software development methods.
Ability to work on cross-functional project teams comprised of software verification and development engineers, system engineers, human factor engineers and quality engineers.
Ability to test, analyze, and solve technical problems.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Design/test experience working with regulated medical devices, preferred.
Experience working within a regulated environment is preferred.
Local language test experience is preferred.
Experience with software version control tools is preferred.
