**Expectations**:

- Ability to assess articles for scientific accuracy, compliance with our editorial policies and suitability for peer review
- Work within in-house online system to claim, review article submissions while also communicating with fellow editors, editorial management and authors
- Demonstrate a strong familiarity with the in-house formatting requirements and style guide to ensure consistency that increases credibility

**Qualifications**:

- Educated to PhD level (or equivalent) in Agriculture / Food Sciences / Environmental Sciences
- Good communication skills with excellent written English
- Excellent organizational ability and time-management skills
- Self-starter with a positive, can-do approach to problem-solving
- Ability to complete allocated tasks and work to (often competing) deadlines
- Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues at all levels and as part of a team
- Meticulous approach to your work and an eye for detail
- Comfortable learning and working with new technology
