Machinist / Fabricator

Job Position : workshop in-charge

Job location : Naikpada, Vasai (E),Mumbai

Salary : Based on skills, exp. and education and previous salary

Starting Range from Rs. 20,000 onwards

Presently we are hiring mechanical fitter or machinist to run precision metal machine workshop independently. He should be skilled enough to run the machinery on own self ie. Lathe, milling, drilling, bending and power saw and welding machine etc.

We are in planning of buying machinery and support equipment for workshop. Presently, work is getting done through outsourcing machining processes to local vendors.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must skilled and capable to help us make full working commercial packaging equipments without much support / input required.
- Means he should make rough drawing with dimensions, then help draftsman to make CAD model and required part /assembly drawing.
- Get machining/fabrication done from local vendor and make assembly in house
- Carry out in-process and final QC. Further test / take trial with raw material and observation to ensure designed output is achieved.
- Production of items as per drawings, work orders and drawings/details provided by the customer
- Work as per procedure / Work instructions
- First article and in-process inspection as required as per procedure.
- Contribute to cost reduction efforts by actively seeking and reporting opportunities for reduced costs.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- ITI/NCTVT with 5 years / DME with 2 year s experience.
- Work experience in CNC Turning operating and programing,
- Must be proficient with Fanuc and siemens CNC programing
- Strong knowledge of all measuring instruments and GD&T
- Prefered if able to understand English.
- Knowledge of Tooling preferred.
- Regular punctual and Good behavior.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
- AUTOCAD, CAM knowledge for programing preferred
