**What you’ll do**:
Real Time Decisioning enables us to have discussions with our customers using real time insight about a customer’s situation at that point in time. This allows us to optimise our interactions with customers and talk to them about the right thing at the right time.

This role will work alongside the Pega development team to understand design documentation and business requirements to enable the creation and execution of suitable test cases. You will be responsible for testing and validating any new activity or changes that end up in a release into** **Pega, identifying issues and managing these through to resolution to ensure seamless delivery of Pega logic into production.

**Who you are**:

- Pega tester. Understand design documentation and business requirements in order to create suitable test cases to prove that any release into Pega is working as expected with documented evidence
- Execute and validate the test cases you have created. Clearly document what has been tested and how so this can be played back to stakeholders
- Fix and track identified defects through to resolution. Conduct retests after issues are resolved
- Work with Senior Tester & Chapter Lead on possible improvements for quality and efficiency to processes, automation and documentation

Key performance indicators:

- _ Segment & team feedback on value added_
- Deployed logic quality - 99.95% accuracy in rule changes & zero production Incidents
- Increased automation of testing

**Core competencies, knowledge and experience**:

- Stakeholder management - work with stakeholders to understand business conext and be able to make recommenations & drive improvements through your testing process
- Project management - give estimates for testing time. Own and manage the testing plan within the timeframe given.
- Very good understanding of structured query language (SQL) and manipulating data from a large data warehouse along with basic Unix commands
- Clear communicator - ability to write and communicate test scenarios as well as be able to proactively identify and fix issues
