Job Title: Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance

Company Overview: Established in 1964, we are a leading manufacturer and supplier of mild steel drums and barrels. Our product line includes lightweight drums, epoxy coated drums, and open mouth drums, tailored to meet the storage and transportation needs of various industries. We serve clients in sectors such as petroleum, lubricating oils, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals.

Position Overview: As the Assistant Manager of Quality Assurance, you will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to delivering products of the highest quality standards. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will collaborate closely to ensure that our products consistently meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with industry regulations. Your dedication to quality, meticulous attention to detail, and effective leadership skills will be pivotal in achieving our mission of providing superior products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control Management:

- Assist in managing the quality control department, including planning, organizing, and coordinating quality control activities.

2. Implementation of Quality Standards:

- Implement and enforce quality control policies and procedures to ensure adherence to industry, regulatory, and customer quality standards.

3. Inspection and Testing:

- Oversee and conduct inspections and testing of sheet metal products at various stages of the production process to identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities.

4. Documentation Management:

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, test results, and inspection reports, ensuring compliance with document control procedures.

5. Root Cause Analysis:

- Investigate quality issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

6. Staff Training and Development:

- Assist in training and developing quality control staff on techniques, standards, and best practices to enhance their skills and knowledge.

7. Process Improvement:
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

- Bachelor's (preferred)
