We are seeking a highly skilled Computational Physicist with a keen interest in social sciences to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging computational methods and models to study complex social phenomena, integrating principles from physics and computer science with insights from the social sciences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement computational models to simulate and analyze social systems and phenomena.
- Collaborate with social scientists to understand research questions and translate them into computational frameworks.
- Utilize statistical methods and machine learning algorithms to analyze large-scale social data sets.
- Conduct simulations and experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, presentations, and publications.

**Requirements**:

- Familiarity with social science theories and methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or R.
- Experience with simulation tools and frameworks (e.g., NetLogo, Repast).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with agent-based modeling and complex systems simulation.
- Knowledge of network analysis and graph theory.
- Previous research or work experience in interdisciplinary environments.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals or conferences.
