Data/information Mgt Int Anlst

The Data/Information Mgt Int Anlst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Gathers operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance
- May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or regulatory data analysis
- Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities
- Work closely with internal business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies

**Tools and Platforms**
- Proficient in SAS, SQL, Tera data and Python
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Expertise in working on Enterprise Data Warehouse

**Domain Skills**
- Good understanding of Risk/Finance - critical data elements data definitions
- Ability to identify golden data source and data discovery from available meta data
- Hands on experience on data extraction/aggregation from Enterprise level data warehouses
- Experience in tracking and reporting of Risk/Finance KPI’s (Like balances, charge off, account life cycle)
- Good understanding of consumer products like Mortgage, Cards
- Knowledge of Finance Regulations like CCAR,AML,KYC etc

**Soft Skills**
- Ability to identify, clearly articulate and solve complex problems
- Should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills

**Technical Skills**:

- Experience in variables mapping across DWH’s
- Ability to write complex SQL,SAS and Python codes for data extraction and aggregation
- Well versed with code optimization techniques

**Educational and Experience**:

- MBA / Master degree in Mathematics / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute. BTech / B.E in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications
- _ (preferred)_ Post Graduate in - Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, Management Science and related fields
- 5+ years of experience in Banking Industry
